College of The Albemarle seeks an experienced Associate Degree Nursing Instructor to join our nursing faculty. This full-time, nine-month position educates and mentors future healthcare professionals through classroom instruction, clinical experiences, and simulations.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, clinical judgment, and professional accountability, with assignments that may include daytime, evening, or weekend shifts across COA sites in northeastern North Carolina.

Competenze

• MSN from a regionally accredited college or university.
• OR BSN and enrollment in an MSN program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in NC (or VA for supervision in VA).
• Two calendar years of full-time clinical nursing experience.

• Deliver nursing instruction in classroom, laboratory, clinical, and online environments.
• Supervise students during clinical rotations and promote safe, evidence-based care.
• Develop engaging learning activities, lab exercises, and simulations.
• Evaluate student performance and provide actionable feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty, healthcare partners, and leadership to maintain quality.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation, advising, and program assessment.
