Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Laborer Admixtures to operate forklift, load and unload totes, assist in batch making and quality checks, and perform maintenance tasks at the Houston plant. This role requires working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities include handling totes, coordinating with drivers, collecting samples, operating fill stations, and performing basic equipment maintenance. Safety and 5S compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent.
• 1 year production experience required.
• 1 year forklift experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load and unload totes at fill stations and stage empty totes.
• Interact with drivers for raw materials delivery, unloading/loading trucks, and collecting bills of lading.
• Assist Production Manager with sample collection from raw materials and finished product; back up Quality Manager with testing as needed.
• Operate fill stations and add dry ingredients manually.
• Perform basic maintenance on valves, pumps, motors, etc.
• Troubleshoot processing equipment as needed.
• Daily plant housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Adhere to 5S principles and safety regulations at all times.
