Under the direct supervision of a physician or registered pharmacist working within a clinic admixture room or licensed pharmacy, the Admixture Tech II/Pharmacy Tech II performs advanced technical, non-judgmental aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping, and inventory control. Tasks are subject to sequential or final verification by a registered nurse or a registered pharmacist. The role supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Specific state laws may regulate that only licensed individuals perform compounding or mixing responsibilities; hence, certain incumbents may be prohibited from these tasks.

The general pay scale for this position at BRCC is $15.42- $23.75. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.
