Job Responsibilities

• Review physician orders for completeness and generate labels for admixture.
• Calculate medication quantities using mathematical and metric conversions.
• Select proper medication strengths/vials to reduce waste.
• Prepare chemotherapies, immunotherapies, and other parenteral medications using aseptic techniques.
• Ensure accurate labeling and double-checking of medications.
• Maintain medication and supply inventories.
• Perform inventory control duties including ordering, receiving, and stocking.
• Manage medication storage and dispensing appropriately.
• Document accurately in EMR and communicate with staff.
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations, including USP 797 and USP 800.
