Job summary

Salt Lake Community College seeks a front desk Admissions Support Specialist to serve as the first contact for visitors in Student Services. You will assist with admissions, registrations, residency questions, and campus resources using in-person, phone, and email channels.

This in-person role is based at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus; hybrid/remote work are not available. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service and knowledge of SLCC processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Experience with SLCC systems and Banner database is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with admissions applications and enrollment procedures.
• Provide information on registration, records, deadlines, residency requirements, campus resources, parking permits, printing services, and SLCC systems.
• Respond to student, faculty, and staff inquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
• Assist students with basic navigation of college systems and online resources.
• Grant access to the Student Center lactation room per college procedures.
