Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking staff to recruit eligible youth for Job Corps programs, conduct outreach in communities and at public events, and interview applicants with parents when minors are involved. The role includes data entry, file processing, QA checks, and coordinating travel with centers.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field, plus experience with diverse youth. A valid driver’s license is often required to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Recruit eligible and suitable youth for Job Corps Program.
• Interface with other outreach contractors and determine student qualifications for enrollment in support of the center's residential, non-residential, and Other Training Provider (OTP) programs.
• Conduct outreach activities in communities, agencies, American Job Centers, and public events.
• Responsible for meeting departmental and center goals and objectives.
• Conduct orientation and interview with applicants including parent in case of minors.
• Perform applicant files procedures (data entry, scan documents on e-file).
• Participate in departmental meetings.
• Coordinate with centers to support applicants in travel arrangements.
• Perform Quality Assurance Checks on all applicant files.
