Job summary

Central Georgia Technical College is seeking an Adult Education Admissions Assistant to support the Adult Education Program. You will handle admissions information, enroll students, and maintain student records in the college system.

The role requires strong customer service, data-entry skills, and familiarity with GALIS software. It may involve travel within the service area and requires adherence to policy manuals and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Earned High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Documented six months related work experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide information by telephone, written correspondence, and in person regarding applicant procedures and admission requirements.
• Process new student applications and related information and prepare student files.
• Enter data from forms and records using college software.
• Assist with campus visits and group tours as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and process enrollment records accurately.
