West Pines Behavioral Hospital is seeking an Admissions RN to support the intake and admissions process at our Denver-area inpatient facility. You will review medical documentation, coordinate with physicians, and facilitate admissions and pre-authorization while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical or observational experience.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation for admissions and obtain admission orders.
• Facilitate emergency transfers for patients when needed.
• Assess referrals from hospitals and community agencies and respond within timeframes.
• Conduct pre-admission assessments and coordinate with physicians.
• Complete pre-authorization for treatment and admission per payor guidelines.
• Admit patients into registration system and ensure consent forms are completed.
• Maintain accurate medical records to support payor authorization.

Education
