Job summary

VITAS Healthcare in Illinois is seeking an Admissions Nurse to bridge hospital or community care with hospice services, guiding patients and families through transitions with clarity and empathy. As an RN with a valid state license and at least 2 years of nursing experience, you will perform comprehensive assessments, educate families on Medicare benefits, and collaborate with physicians and care teams.

Job description

Salary: $40-43/per hour, plus mileage reimbursement and full benefits

Schedule: 9am to 8pm, 4x10h shifts, could be from Monday-Friday, with an on-call rotation on weekends
