Job summary

VITAS Healthcare in Florida is seeking a compassionate Hospice Admissions Nurse to bridge hospital or community care with the comfort of hospice. You will guide patients and families through one of life’s most important transitions with clarity, empathy, and confidence.

As a RN with strong clinical assessment skills, you will determine hospice eligibility, educate on Medicare benefits, coordinate with physicians and care teams, and support families during decision making.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (hospice, palliative, ER, ICU, home health or case management preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
