Job description

myFootpath is in a stage of growth and is seeking an Admissions Representative with a strong background in sales to help enroll and retain adult students into online Associate, Bachelor’s, and Masters degrees at our regionally accredited, non-profit partner universities.

Our Admissions Representatives hold the title of Graduation Specialists and work with prospective students who come from a variety of sources such as warm call transfers, web search, and social media. Maintaining balance in both enrollment and retention is the foundation of this role. Financial aid knowledge is a bonus. A successful graduation specialist must have a high level of empathy and exceptional communication skills.

We are looking for creative and independent problem solvers who can motivate others and provide tailored service based upon the specific needs of each student.

Position is HYBRID - the in office days are spent in Chicago’s Loop in a dynamic, eco-friendly, modern environment with access to an on-site gym.

There is no expected travel.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Continuously meet and exceed monthly goals and maintain a high level of enrollments by successfully presenting partner university degree programs and guiding prospective students through the selection and application process.
  • Serve as an advisor, counselor, advocate, and mentor for adult students as they transition into the academic environment and strive to balance education, employment, family, and/or other life responsibilities and challenges
  • Conduct one-on-one interviews via video conference to evaluate the prospective student's needs, interests and qualifications and match to degree programs
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the offerings, programs, services etc. of all partner universities ensuring complete student satisfaction from inquiry to enrollment to graduation (such as admissions, financial aid, and academics)
  • Efficiently and professionally respond to student concerns at all stages leading up to graduation (such as recently enrolled, first course, at-risk, or continuing students)
  • Gather any necessary documentation and information needed to successfully guide prospects through the entire admissions, enrollment, registration, and other processes required for graduation from a degree program
  • Advise and connect students with services provided by the partner college or university
