Position:

Admissions Rep/Registrar

Position Summary:

The employee assumes responsibility and accountability for the admission/registration and dismissal processes of Emergency Department patients. This role supports a culture of Service Excellence and practices its standards with all customer groups.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Accept responsibilities of assignments using appropriate skills, exhibiting teamwork and effective communication to contribute to departmental operations.
  • Participate in and contribute to quality improvement processes for the Department and Institution.
  • Follow policies and procedures for insurance verification, billing, and registration, obtaining demographic and financial information, explaining and collecting payments, and cross-training as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the departmental budget's impact by ensuring efficient operations.

Qualifications:
