Qualifications

• Typing and computer skills; medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with information required by federal mandates and important messages from Medicare/ Campus.
• Receive and provide shift reports at beginning and end of shifts.
• Obtain consents, assignment of benefits, and releases.
• Obtain information on religious preference and affiliation.
• Safe transport of patients.
• Initiate inquiries and ensure receipt of pre-certification and pre-authorization for services.
