Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity - 7pm to 7am Shift

The Admissions RN is a vital part of Southeast Behavioral Hospital's treatment team. This is a full time, 36 hour per week position working the overnight shift (7pm - 7am).

This position is eligible for a $20,000 Sign on Bonus!

Southeast Behavioral Hospital is excited to offer a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Southeast Missouri. Our 102-provides a wide range of mental, emotional and behavioral health services for children, teens, adults and seniors experiencing mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety and co-occurring substance use issues. Located on the banks of the Mississippi River, the Cape Girardeau region has long been an area of vibrant commerce and abundance, with significant roots in agriculture and trading posts which produced generations of people full of pride and a determination to put in a hard day's work. Responsibilities

• Provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment to assist the physician in identification of appropriate level of care for potential patients
• Act as the initial contact with referral sources and potential patients
• Coordinate the referral and intake process
• Facilitates the admission process and maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff
• Work with the Business Office regarding patient financial data and verification and prior authorization of insurance benefits as needed, as well as with the UR Department for the certification of patients admitted
