Job summary

The South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities seeks an Admissions Counselor to promote the school across the state and manage applications. You will travel to schools and community events, presenting opportunities and guiding families through the admissions process.

In this role you will maintain student data, coordinate communications, and support events while acting as the primary liaison for prospective students and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (G Suite).
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote the School in an assigned territory through presentations in schools and community organizations.
• Promote enrollment through festivals and conferences across the state.
• Manage data and contacts in the application system.
• Serve as the first line of communication between prospective students/families and the school.
• Travel to school visits and community events as scheduled.
• Assist with admissions communications and events as required.
