Responsibilities

• Interpret PRI/RUG Classification system accurately.
• Manage referral caseload and respond promptly.
• Assess classification and patient disposition on screening.
• Coordinate referrals via EMR including verification of benefits.
• Coordinate bed board/census when needed.
• Assess potential patients at partnering hospitals.
• Discuss/interprets patient status with disciplines.
• Maintain knowledge of admission services and options.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.
• Assist with CMS/regulatory compliance in admissions.
