Responsibilities

• Receive nursing report for incoming patients from sending facilities.
• Triage walk-in patients who arrive for assessment.
• Complete intake assessments.
• Contact providers to obtain and enter orders.
• Distribute patient medications as ordered.
• Provide supervision of patients while awaiting transfer to unit.
• Demonstrate professional phone etiquette and develop relationships with clinical staff at sending facilities.
