Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Admissions Liaison to manage the admissions flow, verify referrals, and schedule admissions for patients in a home-like environment across our nationwide inpatient rehabilitation network. You will play a key role in coordinating the admission process and ensuring accurate patient information from referrals through to admission.

The role requires experience in hospital admissions procedures and preferred licensure with CPR and CRRN qualifications advantageous.

Qualifications

• One or more years in hospital admissions procedures, preferred.
• Licensure as a clinician preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• A strong understanding of multidisciplinary care levels and clinical experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Preform pre-certifications.
• Assemble Admissions consent packets.
• Maintain accurate listing of all patients in hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information and execute necessary procedures for scheduling and admission.
• Contribute to the referral process and input statistical data into hospital systems.
