Position Overview

The Admissions/Medical Records Nurse (LPN) assists the Director and Assistant Director of Health Services in managing admission intake and medical records, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high-quality care.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning, organizing, and directing nursing services and programs
• Reporting on nursing operations
• Verifying census accuracy in Electronic Health Records
• Completing resident documentation and assessments
• Participating in investigations and ensuring proper documentation and discharge procedures

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Decision-making skills
• Effective communication with personnel, residents, families, and agencies
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulations

Qualifications:

• Nursing Degree from an accredited college

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current valid RN/LPN license
• CPR certification
• Wound Care Certification (WCC)
• Infection Preventionist certification
