Encompass Health seeks an Admissions Liaison in Tallahassee, FL, to coordinate admissions for both inpatients and outpatients, validating referrals and scheduling patient admissions.

The ideal candidate holds a clinical license, CPR certification, and hospital admissions experience, with preference for CRRN and state licensure. This role supports a compassionate, patient-centered admission process in a national rehab leader.

Qualifications

• License clinician preferred.
• Current State Professional License preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with hospital admissions procedures and regulatory guidelines for admission to a hospital preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience with a strong understanding of multidisciplinary process and levels of care, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Preform pre-certifications.
• Assemble Admissions consent packets.
• Maintain accurate listing of all patients in hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information and execute necessary procedures for scheduling and admission.
• Contribute to the referral process and input statistical data into hospital systems.
