Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Admissions Liaison to coordinate admissions for both inpatients and outpatients at our facilities. You will verify referrals, collect essential information, and schedule admissions with a compassionate, home-like approach.

The role supports a streamlined process for efficient patient flow. The ideal candidate has 1+ year hospital admissions experience and licensure (RN/LPN/OT/PT/SLP/RT/LSW) with CPR and CRRN preferred.

Qualifications

• One or more years in hospital admissions procedures (preferred).
• Licensure as a clinician (RN/LPN/OT/PT/SLP/RT/LSW) preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary care levels and clinical experience advantageous.
• Must be RN, LPN, OT, PT, SLP, RT or LSW.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients (inpatient and outpatient).
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information, and schedule admissions.
• Prepare admissions consent packets and maintain patient listings in hospital systems.
• Assist with pre-certifications and input necessary data into hospital systems for scheduling.
• Contribute to the referral process and document statistics as required.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness in the admissions workflow.
