Job summary

Encompass Health in Katy, Texas is seeking an Admissions Liaison to coordinate compassionate admission processes for inpatients and outpatients. You will receive referrals, verify information, and assist with scheduling and admissions to ensure smooth, timely patient transitions.

This role emphasizes teamwork within a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, offering supportive benefits and opportunities for professional growth in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years in hospital admissions procedures, preferred.
• Licensure as a clinician preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• A strong understanding of multidisciplinary care levels and at least one year of clinical experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Preform pre-certifications.
• Assemble Admissions consent packets.
• Maintain accurate listing of all patients in hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information and execute necessary procedures for scheduling and admission.
• Contribute to the referral process and input statistical data into hospital systems.
