Job summary

Anabranch Recovery Center in Terre Haute, Indiana is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead the intake and admissions process for our addiction recovery program. You will drive revenue-generating strategies, supervise staff, and ensure efficient, compliant operations across the admissions function.

The role requires at least two years in healthcare admissions, experience in alcohol and drug or psychiatric treatment, and preferred Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Psychology, Social Work or related field preferred.
• Two or more years healthcare admissions experience required.
• Experience in the alcohol and drug field or psychiatric treatment field required.

Responsibilities

• Manages the intake and admissions process for incoming patients.
• Performs pre-admissions screens to determine client suitability for the program.
• Coordinates the approval process with leadership and maintains compliance with policies.
• Leads and develops an admissions team to meet department goals and ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains accurate billing information and ensures admissions documents are complete.
