Job summary

Chihuly Garden and Glass is seeking an Admissions Lead to support the Admissions Team and align with Center Art’s mission. You will train, motivate, and supervise staff, coordinate schedules, and act as a bridge between agents and management to ensure a safe, positive guest experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, high standards of service, and program coordination for events and exhibitions on Seattle Center grounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on special events, full time, and 2 out of 3 weekend days (Fri/Sat/Sun).
• Ability to work at least 50% of holidays including: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.
• Proven professional and engaging courtesy and guest service qualities.
• Proven peer leader and role model with the ability to promote professionalism and lead by example.
• Computer and email literate. Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite family of applications.
• Able to multi-task and complete projects with deadlines.
• Ability to become CPR and First Aid certified.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds, use manual dexterity entire shift and work in confined space.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high degree of communication with the management team.
• Ensure Admissions Agents are equipped with tools and skills to perform their duties.
• Monitor upselling techniques and pair tickets with Chihuly Garden and Glass offerings.
• Create and supervise break schedules in compliance with labor laws.
• Coach Admissions Agents on uniform and policies.
• Attend monthly leadership meetings and report progress.
