Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Recruitment and Enrollment professional to help enroll diverse and talented prospective students aligned with the University’s goals.

The role involves managing recruitment territory, building relationships with high schools, evaluating applications, and leading information sessions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, strong presentation and project management skills, and experience working with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• No specific certification or professional license required.
• No specific work experience required.
• Fluency in more than one language preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment territory, engaging with students, parents and guidance counselors at high school visits and college fairs.
• Develop relationships with high school counselors and community organizations to support enrollment.
• Review applications and participate in committee process for admissions decisions.
• Conduct information sessions about the University and Admissions for prospective students and families.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents and counselors by phone and email.
• Plan and manage recruitment events, including budgeting under supervision.
• Interview prospective students visiting campus and provide evaluative feedback on files.
• Collaborate with faculty, deans and other departments to support recruitment and enrollment.
