Oakland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is hiring an Admissions Director to lead the admissions process with professionalism and compassion, guiding families from inquiry to move-in. This full-time role offers an all-inclusive salary between $90,000 and $125,000 per year, based on experience.

You will conduct informative tours, assess resident needs for appropriate placement, and coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure a smooth admissions experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in admissions, marketing, or similar healthcare role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Ability to build relationships, manage sensitive conversations, and guide families.
• Flexible hours due to admissions and marketing responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire admissions process from initial inquiry through resident move-in.
• Conduct engaging and informative tours for prospective residents and families.
• Assess the needs of potential residents to ensure appropriate placement and safety.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members for documentation.
• Maintain accurate resident records in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Lead admissions with responsiveness, relationship-building, and community partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transitions for new residents.
