Lakeshore Village Nursing and Rehabilitation in Waco, TX seeks an Admissions Coordinator to streamline the admissions process and maximize resident census. You will ensure a smooth experience for residents and families, coordinate with nursing and case management, and verify insurance coverage while supporting a professional admissions environment.
The role requires completing admission and financial paperwork, screening against criteria, and maintaining bed availability.
General Purpose The primary purpose of your job is to support facility operations by increasing the facility census.
This position has supervisor responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED. A Bachelor's Degree in health care or related field Preferred. Two years' Admissions experience preferred. LVN or RN license preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To preform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in the Microsoft Suite products.
