Bayview Healthcare in Kissimmee, FL is seeking an Admissions Director to lead the pre-admission referral process and drive Census Development through strong community relationships with families, hospital case managers, physicians, and referral sources. The role focuses on meeting census goals and promoting growth in market share within a post-acute, rehab, and long-term care setting.

Ideal candidates have prior long term care admissions experience, with at least two years of relevant education

• Experience in long term care admissions preferred.
• Minimum of two years college education in Health Care Administration, Business Management, and/or Marketing or Public Relations preferred, or Equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to work proficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment and interface with a variety of healthcare professionals.
• Multi-task oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Meets census goals by coordinating customer flow into the center with Admissions Liaison.
• Provides back up coverage for Admissions Liaison in external role when needed.
• Establishes/maintains positive occupancy trends and Medicare census, new admissions activity, conversion rates and AR targets.
• Manages internal sales process with customers, families, and referral sources to achieve conversion and AR targets.
• Coordinates with Welcome Coordinator to ensure timely completion of admission paperwork.
• Conducts daily center walk-through to assess readiness for tours and admissions.
• Identifies and verifies payors for customer financial data.

Bayview Healthcare is seeking an Admissions Director to join the Admissions team in Kissimmee, FL. The Admissions Director primary responsibility is execution of the pre-admission referral process and Census Development by establishing and maintaining community relationships with potential customers, families, hospital case managers, physicians and other key stake holders, ensuring consistent achievement of strategic goals and market share growth.

Admissions Director Requirements:

• Experience in long term care admissions preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years college education in the field of Health Care Administration, Business Management, and/or Marketing or Public Relations preferred, or Equivalent professional experience
• Ability to work proficiently in a fast-paced, healthcare environment and interface with a variety of healthcare professionals.
• Multi-task oriented excellent organizational skills, and ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a manner that maximizes outcomes and adheres to standard process
• Dedicated, respectful, caring and compassionate in dealing with a geriatric population and families in stressful situations.
• Demonstrate the ability to accurately execute established pre-admissions financial and clinical decision process, policies & procedures and complete monthly key indicator reports.
• Effective time-management skills.
• Self-motivated, outcome-driven individual.
• Strong customer service approach and sales-oriented personality.
• Proficiency of computer programs utilization including but not limited to Microsoft office and other industry specific software platforms
• Must be in good physical and mental health
• Must be able to maintain a positive, Mission-oriented work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that allows you to get along with customers, their family members, and fellow team members.

Team player with ability to implement and execute marketing initiatives in a strategic manner with minimal supervision

Admissions Director Job Responsibilities:

• Meets census goals by working with the Center’s Admissions Liaison to coordinate customer flow into the center
• Is trained and provides back up coverage, as needed, for the Admissions Liaison in the external role
• Establishes/maintains positive trends for overall occupancy, Medicare census, new admissions activity, conversion rates, and account receivable targets
• Effectively manages internal sales process with customers, families, and referral sources, resulting in achievement of targeted conversion rates, and account receivable targets
• Arranges with Welcome Coordinator to ensure through and timely completion, signing and distribution of admission/readmission paperwork as a backup
• Conducts Center walk through daily to assess physical plant readiness for tours and admissions
• Ensures comprehensive identification and verification of payors for customer financial data
