Job summary

Cedar Crest Post Acute, proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, seeks an Admissions Director for a full-time role in Allentown. The position oversees the admissions process, guides families, conducts tours, and partners with clinical teams to ensure appropriate placement.

Requires at least two years in admissions or healthcare marketing, strong communication and organizational skills, and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Admissions, Marketing, or a similar role within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire admissions process from initial inquiry through resident move-in, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for prospective residents and their families.
• Conduct engaging and informative tours for prospective residents and families, clearly communicating services, care options, and community environment.
• Assess potential residents' needs to ensure appropriate placement and a strong fit within the community, prioritizing safety, well-being, and quality of care.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to gather required documentation and ensure a smooth admissions process.
• Maintain accurate resident records in compliance with state and federal privacy laws.
• Lead admissions efforts with a focus on responsiveness and building strong community partnerships to support census goals.

Responsibilities for Admissions Director:

• Oversee and manage the entire admissions process from initial inquiry through resident move-in, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for prospective residents and their families.
• Conduct engaging and informative tours for prospective residents and families, clearly communicating our services, care options, and community environment.
• Assess potential residents' needs to ensure appropriate placement and a strong fit within the community, prioritizing safety, well-being, and quality of care.
• Coordinate closely with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to gather required documentation and ensure a smooth, timely admissions process.
• Maintain accurate, organized resident records in full compliance with state regulations, federal guidelines, and privacy laws.
• Lead admissions efforts with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and maintaining strong community partnerships to support census goals.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth transition for new residents and a positive first experience within the community.

Qualifications for Admissions Director:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Admissions, Marketing, or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage families with empathy and professionalism.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, manage sensitive conversations, and guide families through decision-making processes.
• Ability to work flexible hours, as admissions and marketing responsibilities may require.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
