To assist applicants and newly accepted students with all aspects of the admissions process, with an emphasis on nursing and health science programs. Manage the admission process by conducting new student admissions and follow-up activities, participating in admissions events: Enrollment Nights, Accepted Student Day, Open Houses, and New Student Orientation. The Admissions Counselor will manage the admissions process, to include program exploration, ensuring documents for acceptance are received, registration, and other follow-up activities as assigned throughout the admissions process. The Admissions Counselor will also work as a liaison between program academic advisors and students and assist students with preparing for entry into desired programs and counsel students in need of program changes.Provides admissions counseling to all applicants & newly accepted students, particularly to nursing and health science applicants. Assists applicants with career, academic, personal, and professional development. Connects applicants with needed academic/financial and/or other support resources while providing formal referrals and follow-up services for applicants needing additional career planning, counseling, etc.Provides admission services, academic and career information to prospective and current students to assist in defining academic goals. Administers and interprets career and entrance assessments and completes admissions processing required to convert the applicant to the student. Utilizes various CRM screens to obtain information needed to properly register newly accepted students.Utilizes multiple technology systems together to effectively enroll applicants: Salesforce, Qless, Microsoft Office Suite.Monitors progress of applicants in territories with communications, phone and email contacts, scheduled meetings, proactive outreach, and communication, responds to applicant and newly accepted student questions, concerns, and needs.Participates in the gathering of statistical data and assessment information to ensure the needs of applicants and newly accepted students, and an excellent overall rating in quality of services are being met.Performs other duties as assigned.Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.
Master's degree in related field with 3 years' experience in student services programs.
