Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Chicago, IL is seeking an Admissions Counselor to conduct outreach and recruit students for the center's programs in residential, non-residential, and OTP offerings.

Responsibilities include presenting at events, building partnerships with colleges and agencies, interviewing candidates, and completing enrollment folders per policies. A Bachelor's or Associate's degree and background checks are required, with a $45,000 annual salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or closely related field required; or Associate's degree with years of related experience.
• Valid State driver's license preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen per policy.
• Background check required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts outreach and direct recruitment activities to determine student qualifications for enrollment in center programs.
• Attends, exhibits, and presents at events including job fairs and family/community events.
• Develops linkages with colleges, school districts, and human services agencies to identify potential students.
• Interviews potential candidates to obtain information for eligibility and enrollment folders.
• Documents enrollment information per policy and requirements.
