POSITION SUMMARY:
Execute the strategic admissions and enrollment policies and procedures that will attract and engage mission-appropriate families whose students will benefit from the Academy’s distinctive culture and military model program. Know and support the admissions criteria.
Serve as a point of contact for prospective families, guiding them through the entire admissions journey, ensuring that the admissions process is mission-centered, family-focused, and consistent from inquiry through to enrollment at the Academy.
Support and communicate consistently with prospective families throughout the application and financial aid processes, and diligently and accurately document all admissions touchpoints in the admissions CRM (Blackbaud). Use the system to manage personalized and automated communication workflows that nurture and assist prospective families.
Monitor conversion metrics; Inquiry to application, to interview, and to enrollment, and implement the strategic plan to increase yield at every stage.
Conduct interviews, Zoom meetings, in-depth phone calls, and follow-up touchpoints to support families in the decision-making process.
Collaborate with the admissions team and the Director of Enrollment in the development and implementation of a strategic recruitment, marketing, and communication plan.
Meet or exceed individual and team enrollment goals through proactive outreach, relationship cultivation, and participation in and support of data-driven strategies.
Be able to capably speak on the Academy’s mission, be prepared for pre-liminary conversations about tuition, financial aid, school-fit, and the value-add of Riverside Prep Academy’s program.
Provide parents and prospective students with information relative to the educational, leadership, and character development opportunities available at Riverside Prep Academy.
Participate and support the admissions team in school events geared toward recruitment, including but not limited to Open House events, school tours, and wider community events.
Represent the Academy at fairs, conferences, and community events that expand the visibility and understanding of the “military-model” branding locally, nationally, and internationally.
Support and facilitate school retention efforts.
Act as a “Designated School Official” (DSO) under the Academy’s SEVIS certification for international students. Meet with international students periodically to assist in maintaining their status and managing documentation requirements.
Actively seek and participate in professional development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Proficiency with CRM systems, including data entry, pipeline reporting, managing student records, and workflow management.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking, critical thinking, and empathic listening.
Appreciation for and understanding of the value added of single gender, all-boys education.
Understanding of and experience with appropriate engagement with social media platforms.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, & Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree required; business, social science, sales, communications, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Google platforms, and applications; additionally, and preferably, CRM systems and student enrollment database platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an independent school, higher education, or nonprofit admissions/enrollment role.
Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality with student records and family situations.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to plan and execute events with attention to detail and focus on client experience.
Multi-lingual proficiency.
Strong organizational skills.
