Eureka College in Eureka, IL is seeking an Admissions Counselor to recruit students and guide families through the admissions process, representing the College on and off campus.

Assistant/Associate Dean of Admissions
Admissions Counselor serves as a primary student recruiter and represents the College both on and off-campus to prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors, and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process. Their goal is to identify students most likely to be successful and graduate from Eureka College, to enroll and retain students through graduation, and to assist students and parents through the admissions process.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, sometimes for extended periods of time; walk; sit; use hands to, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Some travel by car to a variety of off-campus settings is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
Normal workday is 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday through Friday with one hour allocated for lunch. This role requires an adjusted schedule of 10:00AM-7:00PM or 11:00AM-8:00PM at least two days per week from September - May to contact high school students after their school day. Flexibility in the work schedule is also required to accommodate occasional evening and weekend hours and travel to/from college fairs and high schools.
$36,000 to $44,000 annually
