Job summary

Wellbridge is seeking an Admissions Specialist to engage prospective patients and families, explain program options, and guide them through the admissions process at our Calverton, NY site. This full-time role includes outreach to referral sources and accurate data entry into EMR/CRM systems, with attention to patient comfort and clear communication.

The position requires 1–2 years in a call center or behavioral health setting, with an associate degree (bachelor's preferred).

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1–2 years in a call center or behavioral health setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate information about Wellbridge programs and admissions.
• Reach out to referral sources, families and patients considering admission.
• Enter prospective patient demographics, insurance, and referrals into EMR/CRM.
• Explain self-pay, in-network, and out-of-network rates to families.
• Follow patients through the admissions pipeline and complete clinical intake follow-ups.
• Collaborate with clinical and medical teams to ensure warm handoffs.
