Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Worthington, OH is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to guide prospective residents from inquiry to admission. You will ensure positive relationships with referral sources, verify payer eligibility, complete the required paperwork, and help achieve community census goals.

The role involves coordinating tours, admissions, insurance verifications, and pre-certifications, with a focus on compassionate, customer-focused service in our skilled nursing facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including referral software and electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer flow from inquiry to actual admission.
• Ensure positive relations with potential customers and referral sources.
• Verify payer for admission and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
• Contribute toward the community’s profitability and census goals.
• Coordinate tours, admissions, insurance verifications & pre-certifications.
