Universal Health Services (UHS) National Call Center in Brentwood, TN is hiring Admissions Coordinators for full-time roles with evening shifts. You will respond to inquiries from prospective patients nationwide, document interactions in the CRM, and facilitate admissions with empathy and accuracy.

The role requires understanding psychiatric and addiction treatment basics, plus strong listening skills, to connect with patients and guide them through the admissions process.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; vocational tech schooling preferred.
• 0-1 year related experience required; 1-3 years preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience in transactional/relationship sales preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, emails, chats, and texts from prospective patients per guidelines.
• Record all patient-related interactions in the CRM platform accurately.
• Provide reports, reviews, and back-up for calls, emails, chats, and texts as required.
• Explain evaluation and admission process and provide facility information; follow up as needed.
• Identify outpatient leads and refer to the appropriate team member.

UHS National Call Center (a UHS company)

The Admission Coordinator (AC) is responsible for responding to initial inquiries associated with the Admission Center by answering calls, texts, and emails from prospective patients from across the country in need of addiction treatment. This position engages with prospective patients identifying their specific need(s) while proposing the appropriate treatment solution(s).

This role requires a foundational understanding of psychiatric and addiction treatment, along with the ability to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues to build rapport and trust. Success in this role is defined by the ability to consistently connect with patients, communicate with empathy and clarity, facilitate timely and appropriate admissions that support long‑term recovery, and thoroughly document each interaction in the company’s CRM platform.

Schedules Available:

Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday-Monday off) 2:00pm-10:30pm

Sunday-Thursday (Friday-Saturday off) 2:00pm-10:30pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Answers phone calls, emails, chats, and texts in a timely manner according to guidelines from prospective patients, referral accounts, mobile assessors, and business development reps.
  
• Records all patient-related interactions and information in the CRM platform accurately and completely.
  
• Provides reports, reviews documentation, and serves as backup for calls, emails, chats, and texts as required.
  
• Sets the patient at ease by explaining the evaluation and admission process and providing facility information. Follows up with patients as needed or as requested by managers.
  
• Identifies outpatient leads and refers to the appropriate team member.
