POSITION TITLE: Admissions Assistant
Under general supervision, the Admissions Assistant is responsible for performing administrative, clerical, admissions and customer service duties in support of the Student Affairs Division at Ogeechee Technical College. The role includes responding to requests and needs of visitors and students, keeping abreast of admissions regulations, policies and procedures, providing information by telephone, written correspondence, and in person to interested parties regarding applicant procedures and admissions requirements, maintaining inventory of admissions materials, processing new student applications and related information, preparing student files, assisting with special event planning and execution, coordinating campus visits, assisting with group tours, monitoring the use of and maintaining supplies and equipment, and may assist with recruiting and marketing activities, registration duties, and may supervise work study students and other duties as assigned.
