The Admissions Assistant coordinates the intake, referral, and inquiry process for prospective residents entering our senior living community. This role serves as a welcoming primary contact for families and residents, facilitating smooth transitions by managing intake documentation, conducting tours, and coordinating move-ins with interdisciplinary care teams.
Intake & Move-In Coordination: Greet prospective residents and families, assist with move-in packets, and guide families through the onboarding process.
Tours & Inquiries: Answer prospective resident inquiries, provide community information, and lead campus tours when needed.
Documentation & Data Entry: Maintain accurate resident profiles, intake paperwork, and CRM database records in compliance with privacy regulations.
Eligibility & Pre-Screening: Assist in collecting financial, insurance, and medical records required prior to resident move-in.
Team Coordination: Liaise with nursing, dietary, and housekeeping teams to prepare resident rooms and ensure a seamless move-in day.
Education & Age: High school diploma or GED required; minimum 18 years old.
Experience: 1+ years in senior living, assisted living, healthcare administration, or customer service/hospitality roles.
Skills: Proficiency in computer/EHR/CRM systems, strong attention to detail, clear communication, and an empathetic, customer-focused demeanor.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while conducting tours; lift up to 25 lbs.
