Job summary

Tallmadge Health & Rehab Center in Tallmadge, OH is hiring to manage admissions, patient flow, and the facility’s marketing program. This role drives referrals, payer satisfaction, and community engagement to support census goals and profitability.

Qualifications

• Cultivating and maintaining professional relationships in local healthcare markets
• Generate referrals by building relationships with hospitals, physicians, independent and assisted living facilities and other community resources
• Coordinates tours, admissions, insurance verifications & pre-certifications
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a healthcare setting. High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer flow, admissions process, and marketing program for the community.
• Guide the marketing program to ensure strong customer, referral, and payer satisfaction, market penetration, and positive public image.
• Maximize community census and profitability through effective outreach and admissions.
• Coordinate tours, admissions decisions, and ensure a positive admission experience for customers and families.
• Provide extraordinary customer service to external and internal customers including referral sources, patients, families, and partners.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose is to manage the customer flow, admissions process, and marketing program for the community. Responsibilities include guiding the marketing program which ensures strong customer, referral, and payer satisfaction, appropriate market penetration, positive public image, and maximization of community profitability and census goals.

Education and Qualifications:

• Cultivating/Maintaining professional relationships in the local health care markets
• Generate referrals for services by building relationships with hospitals, physicians, independent and assisted living facilities and other community resources
• Coordinates tours, admissions, insurance verifications & pre-certs
• Community outreach activities such as health fairs, wellness checks, and caregiver support groups
• Regular marketing calls and visits will be made to referral sources to increase the number of referrals and admissions.
• Facilitates admissions decisions, and ensure a positive admission experience for customers and families
• Extraordinary customer service to both external and internal customers. External customers would include referral sources, patients, and their families. Internal customers would include supervisors, clinical & non-clinical staff members, pharmacies, and suppliers
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a healthcare setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Shift & Wage:

• Wage: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
