Our mission is to deliver treatment for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neuro or complex orthopedic diagnoses in the most functional setting — a person's own home and community.
We are seeking a Part-Time Admissions Analyst to support our home and community programs. This role is responsible for managing the admissions process and converting client referrals to admissions under the guidance of the Admissions Manager.
Essential Duties & Functions
- Answer inquiries regarding programs and gather preliminary client/funder information.
- Respond to phone calls and emails related to admissions inquiries.
- Ensure appropriate information is sent to requesting individuals.
- Gather additional data to determine funding availability and approval possibilities.
- Coordinate with Business Development Liaisons and Clinical Directors for benefits verifications and follow-up scheduling.
- Work with the Clinical Director to obtain treatment records for evaluation prior to preadmission screening.
- Provide funding information before admission.
- Review evaluator’s impressions and communicate treatment plans and costs to funders/referrers after preadmission screening.
- Follow up to secure final admission commitments, involving relevant staff as needed.
- Coordinate preadmission discussions and complete necessary documentation, including patient workbook and IVF.
- Forward comprehensive evaluation reports to funders/referrers within designated timeframes.
- Secure commitments from funders/referrers, negotiating discounts and payment arrangements under supervision.
- Set up patient records in the electronic medical system prior to admission.
- Maintain communication with marketing regarding intakes and referrals.
- Serve as a resource for funding and approval issues during client care.
- Keep programs updated on client status and internal discharge/admission processes.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; at least three years in marketing or healthcare preferred.
- Proficiency in database management, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong planning, organization, communication, and time management skills.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to sit frequently, and bend, kneel, stand, and walk occasionally.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Travel up to 10% of the time; ability to lift or move up to 10 lbs. occasionally.
