A prominent education institution is looking for an Admissions Representative to guide prospective students through the admission process. The role involves managing recruitment activities and engaging with diverse individuals, fostering strong relationships, and achieving enrollment goals. Classification Title Administrative Full Time (.75-1.0 FTE)
The work of an Admission Representative involves sharing detailed information about Hope and why it should be a strong consideration among the many options available in higher education. Admissions Representatives guide prospects through the search, application, and admission process by helping them assess their skills, education, and career goals in order to discern whether Hope is a good option. An effective Admissions Representative is passionate about the experience Hope College provides and eager to communicate it to prospective students and their parents at fairs, high school visits, emails, over the phone, and a variety of other ways.
The personality that most enjoys this work is one that is proactive, collaborative, self-motivated, and enjoys selling what Hope has to offer. An ability to interact with a wide range of people is also essential. In addition to working with students and parents, Admissions Representatives are responsible for significant admissions events and territory management. Admissions Representatives are expected to develop and maintain close working relationships with other key constituents, including secondary school counselors and community-based organizations.
Responsibilities:
Admissions Representatives will represent Hope College both on and off campus to prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors, and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process. Other key responsibilities include:

This position requires remaining in a sitting or standing position for frequent periods of time; uses office machinery such as a computers, printers, copy machines; Occasionally involves moving items over 10 pounds; frequently will move between different offices/workspaces/buildings; and requires effective communication abilities.
