A leading healthcare company seeks an Admission Coordinator PRN Rotating who will be responsible for processing admissions and coordinating bed assignments. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma and relevant experience, with proficiency in medical terminology and typing skills. This role supports a fast-paced environment, ensuring effective communication between various departments.
Responsible for processing and coordinating reservations and bed assignments for admissions and transfers. Serves as a liaison and resource for physicians, physician's office staff, nursing, ancillary departments, and registration staff.
THE ADMISSION COORDINATOR PRN ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education/Other Qualifications:
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Hospital service, accommodation codes, policies and procedures, and medical terminology preferred. Some medical terminology and business courses are advantageous.
Minimum Experience: One to two years of relevant experience preferred. PC experience with related software packages and typing ability of 40 words per minute.
