Job Description
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)
Lead with Purpose. Build an Exceptional Team. Make a Lasting Impact.

Quarterly Bonus!

We are seeking an accomplished and compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead one of our skilled nursing communities in Ohio. This is an opportunity for a proven healthcare leader to shape facility culture, elevate resident care, develop an engaged team, and drive sustainable operational success.

The ideal candidate is a visible, hands‑on leader who understands that outstanding results begin with supported employees, trusted relationships, and an unwavering commitment to residents. You will have the support of experienced regional and corporate partners while maintaining the autonomy and accountability to lead your facility effectively.

What You'll Lead

Provide strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the skilled nursing facility.

Create a positive, resident-centered culture built on compassion, accountability, and teamwork.

Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations and organizational policies.

Partner with nursing, therapy, dietary, social services, and other departments to deliver exceptional resident care.

Recruit, mentor, and retain high‑performing department leaders and frontline employees.

Strengthen employee engagement through visible leadership, clear communication, and meaningful recognition.

Oversee financial performance, budgeting, labor management, reimbursement, and expense controls.

Develop census growth and admissions strategies while strengthening community and referral relationships.

Maintain continuous survey readiness and lead effective plans of correction and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees, healthcare partners, and community leaders.

Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership on strategic priorities and operational initiatives.

What You Bring

Comprehensive knowledge of skilled nursing operations, resident rights, and CMS and state regulations.

A demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, and hold multidisciplinary teams accountable.

Strong financial and operational judgment, including experience with budgets, labor, census, and reimbursement.

Proven success managing regulatory surveys, quality outcomes, and corrective action plans.

Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and conflict‑resolution skills.

The composure and judgment necessary to lead through complex or urgent situations.

A leadership style grounded in integrity, visibility, compassion, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

Current and active Michigan Nursing Home Administrator license.

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.

Three to five years of progressive leadership experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.

Experience leading a large or complex skilled nursing operation.

Demonstrated success improving survey outcomes, census, employee retention, resident satisfaction, or financial performance.

This position requires frequent interaction with residents, families, employees, and community partners throughout the facility. Because we serve residents around the clock, flexibility may occasionally be required for evenings, weekends, emergencies, meetings, training, and organizational initiatives.

The Leader We're Looking For

You are a strategic thinker who remains connected to the people behind the numbers. You lead with confidence and compassion, establish clear expectations, and build teams that take pride in providing exceptional care. Most importantly, you want your leadership to make a meaningful difference-for residents, families, employees, and the surrounding community.

If you are ready to lead with purpose and take the next step in your long‑term care leadership career, we invite you to apply.
