The SharePoint Administrator will manage, configure, maintain, and support our SharePoint environments (on-premises and/or SharePoint Online). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience, as well as assisting in the design and development of SharePoint solutions to meet business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain SharePoint environments (On-Premise and/or SharePoint Online via Microsoft 365).
  • Grant, revoke, and manage access to SharePoint sites and content
  • Manage site collections, libraries, lists, permissions, and content databases.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups.
  • Monitor SharePoint health, performance and storage usage while setting storage limits and ensuring optimal utilization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop SharePoint solutions (workflows, forms, custom views).
  • Ensure security best practices, manage access controls, and perform regular system audits.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues [proactively within the SharePoint environment.
  • Support integration with other Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Power Automate, OneDrive, etc.) as well as integrations to other platforms such as content management systems.
  • Document processes, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide end-user support and training as needed.
  • Work with developers for customizations (web parts, scripts, branding, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree ; Major: Computer Science
  • Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable
  • 3+ years of experience managing SharePoint environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint 2016/2019.
  • Experience migrating from SharePoint On-Premise to SharePoint Online
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and SharePoint administration tools.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Knowledge of SharePoint security and compliance best practices.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-700, MS-900, SharePoint-related).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
