Traditions Health LLC is looking for a Hospice Administrator RN in Crown Point, IN, to lead the hospice team. Responsibilities include oversight of compliance with laws and regulations, management of staff education, and maintaining communication with the Governing Body.

Primary function is to assume overall responsibility and authority for administrative and leadership functions, supervision of the organizational plan, and responsibility for ongoing communication with the Governing Body, the Interdisciplinary Group/Team (IDG/IDT), and hospice staff. The Care Team in partnership with Traditions Health is seeking a Hospice Administrator RN to lead our growing team in Crown Point, IN.
Education: Must be a licensed physician, registered nurse (RN), licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or licensed nursing home administrator with at least one year of management or supervisory experience in a health‑related setting, or have at least a high school diploma or GED.
Licensure: No licensure required (but must be licensed as RN).
Experience: At least two years of management or supervisory experience in a health‑related setting such as hospital, nursing facility, hospice, outpatient rehabilitation center, psychiatric facility, intermediate care facility, or licensed health‑care delivery setting for individuals with functional disabilities.
Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff, the lay and professional public, the governing body, IDG/T, and the medical director; ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance required.
Regulatory: Must pass all background checks, MVR check, complete health statement acknowledging ability to perform job duties, and proof of insurance.
Physical & Mental Effort: Prolonged sitting required; ability to handle stressful situations calmly and courteously; ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather.
