Job summary

Shiseido Americas seeks an Administrator for Production Materials (2nd Shift) to partner with the warehouse team, ensure timely receipt and return of components, verify BOM alignment, and generate order paperwork. The role involves data entry, RTS documentation, and collaboration with Production Administration to reconcile orders.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to communicate clearly, and proficiency in MS Office and MES systems.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Office and data entry.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

  • Submit orders to the warehouse for components and bulk material for all scheduled manufacturing orders ensuring materials are available on time.
  • Verify that the components received match the bill of material (BOM) for every job.
  • Generate paperwork for upcoming orders.
  • Count all components being returned from the production floor.
  • Re-pack components to prevent damage or contamination.
  • Weigh bulk materials and ensure proper packaging to avoid contamination.
  • Perform data entry of all Production return to stock components and supplies.
  • Assist with material management and process flow.
  • Fill out RTS documents and perform MES transactions.
  • Ensure completed work order paperwork is provided for MO reconciliation.
  • Communicate with Production to address carry-overs and shortages.

JOB SUMMARY

This role partners closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely receipt and return of components for production jobs. This includes verifying and counting components, completing documentations and system transactions and partnering with Production Administration to reconcile orders.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You will submit orders to the warehouse for components and bulk material for all scheduled manufacturing orders ensuring all materials are available on time.
  • You will be responsible for verifying that the components received match the bill of material(BOM) for every job.
  • You will generate paperwork for upcoming orders.
  • You will count all components being returned from the production floor.
  • You will re-pack all components in a neat manner to avoid damage or contamination of the components.
  • You will weigh bulk materials and ensure sure they are packaged properly to avoid contamination.
  • You will perform data entry of all Production return to stock components and supplies.
  • You will assist with material management and process flow.
  • You will fill out return to stock (RTS) documents. You will perform necessary transactions in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • You will ensure all completed work order paperwork is provided in a timely manner to the Production Administration for machine order/manufacturing order (MO) reconciliation.
  • You will communicate with Production to execute any carry-overs (and shortages) in production orders to maintain accurate inventory.
  • You will support departmental and organizational goals and objectives
  • You will be required to perform all duties in accordance with company and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
  • You will carry out other duties to be performed as required by Production Management.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are able to perform tasks carefully, accurately, and efficiently in accordance with specific instructions and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • You are able to follow through on assignments and complete them in a timely and competent manner.
  • You are effective communicator both verbally and in writing. You are ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • You are able complete basic mathematical calculations.
  • You are proficient in MS Office.
  • You are experienced with using MES.

The hourly rate for this position may vary based on geographic location. Pay is based on several factors including knowledge, education, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package, including a discretionary annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits.
