Administrator On Duty (AOD) Overnight Supervisor

Annually serving over 1,400 youth and families, Lawrence Hall is a community-based organization committed to helping Chicago's youth, families, and communities heal from childhood trauma. For over 150 years, we have delivered high-quality, evidence-based, and innovative therapeutic care across the Chicago metropolitan area. Our core programs include the Child and Family Treatment Center, Therapeutic Day School, Creative Therapies, Foster Care, Transitional/Independent Living Program, Workforce Development, and Community Wellness, all aimed at meeting the evolving needs of youth and families and preventing violence in Chicago communities.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily operations of the Child and Family Treatment Center during the shift to ensure coverage, proper functioning, and safety.
  • Manage crisis situations professionally, with approval from the Licensed Milieu Supervisor, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Supervise overnight staff, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Coordinate youth transportation, medication administration, and emergency responses.
  • Maintain safety, fidelity, and program integrity, including documentation of incidents and critical events.
  • Apply trauma-informed practices, support staff and youth needs, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Participate in required training, including trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience or a High School Diploma with 5 years of experience in human services.
  • Competence in residential treatment, supervisory abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of trauma and youth development preferred.
  • Valid Illinois driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background checks.

Work Schedule
Third shift (11p-9a or 12a-8a), with flexibility for on-call duties and weekends.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate from $21.50 to $26.50, depending on experience.
