Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an entry level inventory and planning specialist to join our Production Control team in Lawrence, MA. You will work closely with manufacturing and procurement to support material planning and scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with intercompany purchase orders for international shipments, and providing transactional and physical support for inventory management. Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Entry level knowledge of planning, scheduling, production control or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
• Collect and stage material according to company procedures.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Job Description:

We are looking for an entry level inventory & planning specialist to join our Production Control team in Lawrence. You will primarily be responsible for:

Requirements/Qualifications:

Preferred Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
2. Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
3. Collect and analyze data to help drive process improvement.

Pay Range:

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $35,000-$87,000.* *Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
