Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking an Enterprise Applications Specialist to manage enterprise apps, plant systems and safety management platforms in an oil & gas environment. This role covers full lifecycle from requirements to go-live, with emphasis on reliability, security, and continuous improvement.

Summary

We are seeking an Enterprise Applications Specialist with experience in Oil & Gas industry or a high-risk industrial environment managing enterprise applications, plant systems applications and safety management systems.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

• Stand up health, safety, environmental, and quality platforms at new sites, managing the full lifecycle from requirements gathering through configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live.
• Deploy new modules across the existing platform footprint, including scoping, configuration, workflow design, and business readiness.
• Configure, Maintain and administer VG’s enterprise applications to meet business requirements.
• Partner with site safety, environmental, engineering, and quality leaders to prioritize a shared backlog of enhancements and fixes.
• Manage user roles and permissions. Administer security settings and restrictions across all applications to ensure data integrity and confidentiality and audit trail integrity.
• Configure and customize applications to meet business requirements ensuring the systems are aligned with VG’s policies and industry standards.
• Provide technical support to users by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with software vendors to plan and execute upgrades and patches and execution of new modules.
• Develop User guides and SOPs that effectively feeds training and change management activities.
• Support periodic User access reviews and internal audits.
• Partner with Business users to identify gaps and continuously contribute towards process optimization.
• Address production issues via ITSM tool, resolving Incidents, Service tickets and general enquiries raised by users.
• Perform Unit testing & support User Acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets business requirement.
• Partner with multiple business units in a service provider environment of continuous change and support
• Support integration between VG applications with other internal and external applications.
• Participate in application projects and change intakes including requirement gathering, planning and execution.
• Coordinate with Business to document needs and translate them into system functionalities.
• Aptitude for taking on responsibilities outside the core competency.
• Support the business with production issues ensuring systems are online 24 x 7.
• Liaison with vendors on application version enhancements, patches, etc. and ensure compliance to Venture Global patching policies.
• Write application specific Administration SOPs.
• Provide technical insights and recommendations to ensure that applications are scalable across facilities, maintainable, and aligned with the organization’s long-term goals.
• Be a self-starter, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, customer centric and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships.
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, resilient under pressure, able to meet deadlines and able to work in a constantly changing environment.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

• 3-10 years of experience with managing, configuring and administering industry related software applications.
• Proven experience implementing or supporting enterprise EHS, quality management, or compliance platforms in a regulated industrial setting (e.g., energy, chemicals, utilities, mining, or heavy manufacturing).
• Working fluency in industrial operating processes: permit to work, management of change, incident investigation, audits and findings, industrial hygiene, emissions and air compliance reporting, contractor qualification, and training/competency records.
• Strong track record of configuring commercial platforms and leveraging native product functionality over custom software development.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Experience configuring and administering multiple applications.
• Experience in Oil & gas industry or a high-risk industrial environment is preferred.
• Excellent business process analysis and redesign experience, business analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Experience partnering with management and staff in a team-based environment.
• Work independently and in co-operation with others on multiple activities, with flexibility to manage competing demands and changing priorities.
• Extensive business and systems analysis skills that support applications development.
• A good understanding of operational processes within a company
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship management skills
• Must be customer-service oriented and adaptable to ongoing changes.

Preferred Experience

• Preferred: Experience with multi-site or multi-jurisdiction regulatory reporting.
• Preferred: Formal EHS or quality credential, or experience working at an operating facility.

Salary Range

$153,000-$187,500
