Job summary

The Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an Administrator to direct all facility functions and ensure the highest standard of patient care. This role requires leadership across care programs, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and strategic execution to drive occupancy and quality improvements.

You will interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff, balance labor needs, and implement sales and operations strategies while maintaining patient rights and building a high‑performing team.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Administrator’s license.
• Prior General Manager or Administrator experience in Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related subject preferred.

SUMMARY:

The Administrator directs all functions of the Skilled Nursing Facility to assure that the highest degree of quality of care is consistently provided to the patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand the facility’s care regulations and support the patient care programs
• Develop and implement successful strategies regarding labor, occupancy growth, revenue growth, expense control, and quality of services
• Ensure adherence to the Patient’s Bill of Rights
• Interview, hire, orient, train, supervise and evaluate staff
• Constantly assess patient needs and staffing levels
• Lead the implementation of all sales and operations strategies
• Assist in the development of operational budgets and capital requirements
• Able to work in various positions at facility and willing and able to fill in as needed
• Build a high performing team and keep morale high
